I have led the civil engineering and site design for projects of all scales. Since 2001, I have been acting as Project Manager and primary client contact, becoming particularly skilled at navigating the permitting process and establishing project budgets for clients. I served as Principal in Charge of projects for a medium sized engineering firm from 2014 to 2024. The diverse types of projects allowed me to develop design skills ranging from fine grading for stormwater, water & sewer and floodproofing. I have regularly prepared and managed the bidding process, along with construction administration.
I founded Stone Boat Consulting in 2024 with the goal of returning to more design work directly with clients. Over the last 25 years I have developed a unique blend of design, project management, and real estate development skills working on a wide range of project types. I pride myself on being an active listener to understand my client’s goals and challenges and find it important to communicate with clients throughout the life of a project. I believe in the value of a feasibility study and enjoy the collaboration with clients that my work offers. I am happy to work on a vast variety of project types, and have a particular interest in site design, grading & stormwater design.
